been our motto from the beginning which has helped us
to become one of the leading German
Shepherd Dog Hobby Kennels in the North of
England. Based in Leeds, West
Yorkshire, we are easily accessible
from all of the Major Motorway
networks.
At
Kassieger we recognise the FIRST
thing a Shepherd needs to be is a
reliable Family Pet. So although we
enjoy our hobby of exhibiting this beautiful
breed in the show ring we are NEVER
prepared to sacrifice Brains
for Beauty.
A True Shepherd should have an
Automatic Ability & Willingness
to Work as well as Guard. Training
can only bring OUT what has already
been genetically put IN.

Kassieger Shepherds are an integral
part of our family.
Our
Dogs LIVE WITH US, NOT JUST IN THEIR
KENNEL!!!
All
our breeding stock to date is Breed
Surveyed Class 1 or Class 1*.
We firmly believe in Hip Scoring and our average score at
present is 11.
To protect them against straying or
theft, all our dogs are micro-chipped
including our puppies before they go
to new homes. We consistently exhibit our
breeding stock in the show ring for
ALL to see. None
of our Shepherds are hidden away when
people come to visit our home or
view our puppies as this is our
hobby and we are proud of all our Shepherds
who can be approached,
touched, hugged and played with.
We
normally breed one or two
litters per year and continue to
compete with the best in the show
ring, but WIN or LOSE most
importantly, WE love ALL of our
dogs.
We

the wonderful world of the German
Shepherd Dog from our first female Ch
Jacnel Nacale through the
Generations of Kassieger to today.

Welfare or Rescue Centres. Having
been one of
the National GSD Helpline Volunteers
we at Kassieger are well aware
of the many problems facing both dog
and owners.
